Why You Need A Telfar Bag
I was on Twitter scrolling on a nice day in July and the timeline was talking a language I did not understand. So many people were distraught over this "Telfar?". I was just SO confused. I was like what did Telfar do? And why are so many people mad they didn't get this Telfar? I did a little research...then I became one of those people on Twitter.
Telfar is a Black-owned brand that sells clothes, jewelry, durags, and of course these handbags everyone wants! The brand has been around since 2005, the handbags launched in 2014. These bags are HOT right now as many celebrities have been spotted rocking a Telfar bag, such as Gigi Hadid, Solange, and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
What drew me into wanting to spend my money with this brand was the slogan "not for you, for everyone" and how their words match their actions. The commotion on Twitter was that a bag release day was happening and bots purchased the majority of the bags and were reselling them 100x the original price. Telfar brand decided to have a Bag Security Day in which you can preorder a bag and in a few months, the bag would be delivered to you. Any size or color you would like. This was music to my ears because resellers really tried it! These luxury bags are very affordable as a small bag is $150. I was very pleased that the brand was able to find a solution and to be able to stick to their word that this brand is for everyone.Review:

I ordered the bag on the first Bag Security Day. I don't recall the exact date but I believe it was towards the end of July. The brand said it would take a few months and to deliver and to expect the bag around December and January. I will say that when you buy something online, there is an anticipation feeling you have that you will receive the product(s) you purchased in a few days. By the time it was October, I was kinda over waiting for the bag and I felt I didn't even want the color I chose anymore! It was just a long wait.
But the wait was worth it! I got my bag in the mail in mid-November which made me happy because I was not expecting to receive my bag this soon. So all the happiness came back to me and I was just so excited that I felt like the whole world needed to watch me unbox that bad boy! Overall, I love this bag. I can not wait to take cute Instagram pictures with this bag! This is just a brand that I'm ecstatic I put my money towards and they will see my coins again! This bag is made of vegan leather so the material is just gorgeous and glossy. I've only had the bag for a week, so I will have to give an update in a few months on how the bag is holding up.
